The artist Meret Schmiese, born 1996, lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She is currently studying Visual Communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin (UdK), where she attends the class for space-related design and curatorial layout.

The core of her artistic work is formed by her explorations of spatial schematics and narrative spatial structures. Through her use of diverse materials, she seeks irritations of the ordinary and thereby creates unique realms of spatial experiences, which, in turn, initiate stimulating exchanges.
